Spot It consists of 55 circular cards, each decorated with a variety of eight symbols. There are more than 50 symbols in all, including images of hearts, snowflakes, dragons, and lightning bolts, as well as words such as Stop, Art, and OK. The symbols are universal in nature, allowing everyone, including young children, to participate in the fun.
There are multiple games you can play with Spot It Cards. Most of them move pretty fast and require speedy cognitive processing, as it challenges your visual perception, hand-eye coordination and reaction time. Spot it cards encourage a group to interact, find connections and have fun. There are activities ranging from icebreakers to problem solving to storytelling included.
Can be played with adult groups and/or youth groups.
Things in Common
Pass out one card to each participant, invite them to find a partner and then find the common image they have between their two cards. Then have them find one thing they have in common with one another. Once they have finished, have them trade cards and then find a new partner. Encourage 5-6 partner exchanges. Easy and fun!
